On March 2, Pemberville Students were treated to a concert performed by the brass quintet of the Toledo Orchestra. The musicians told the students how some of the earliest instruments were first created from sea shells and animal horns. Over the years, people learned how to use brass to create instruments. Valves were then added to make it possible to play a larger variety of notes. We listened to a nice variety of music and it was a great start to Music in Our Schools Month.
Pemberville 4th Graders took a field trip to see the Toledo Orchestra on February 18th. We had a great day!
On December 1st, Pemberville 2nd Graders performed at the Senior Citizen's Luncheon which was held at the American Legion in Pemberville. Students sang a variety of holiday songs and played the hand bells for the accompaniment.
